Server logs

As with any website, the servers that deliver it log technical access data: IP address, page requested, time, volume of data transferred and the identifier of the browser. The logs are deleted after no more than 14 days, are not combined with other data and are not passed on to advertisers.

Cloudflare processes the same technical access data for this purpose. That is a cross-border disclosure, and we make it in accordance with Australian Privacy Principle 8; Cloudflare handles the data under standard contractual clauses and its published privacy policy. Hosting

The pages are served from a server in the United Kingdom. The United Kingdom has its own data protection legislation, so the information is held under a comparable regime.

Cookies

This website does not set its own cookies and no advertising or analytics cookies. That is why there is no consent banner: there is nothing for you to consent to. Your browser may store technical data such as its cache; this website does not access it.

If you write to us, we store the message so that we can reply. Senders are not added to any mailing list, in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Messages are deleted once the matter is dealt with and no record-keeping obligation requires otherwise.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, and to ask us to stop using or disclosing it in certain circumstances. Because this website holds almost no personal information, such a request is usually answered quickly. Write to the address above.
